Hand turned from a stunning piece of Cherry timber which has burr grain and natural colour shading which makes this one of my favourite pieces of the year. There is a natural void in the timber which I left for a while before deciding to fill it with green resin and making it more of a feature against the darker wood colour. It has enough character to hold it’s own as a centre piece but can also be functional as it’s finished with food safe oil. As with all wooden products this creation should not be put in a dishwasher. It’s 260mm wide x 55mm high.
